Education

The museum’s educational service develops and extends Oteiza’s educational work, including experimental training of artists and, particularly, aesthetic education for children.

All the museum’s educational projects share a common feature: experimentation as a tool of learning. Jorge Oteiza’s creative diversity in fields related to expression such as sculpture, poetry, philology and philosophy, represents another educational challenge for the Museum in terms of adapting the artistic languages to the social and school arena. The service runs a number of specific projects created for local schoolchildren as well as educational programmes targeted at other social sectors.
